Description

The Universal Calibrator (UC) system is a revolutionary portable device for calibrating temperature and irradiance in all Q-Lab model Q-UV and / or Q-Sun aging test chambers. It uses “smart sensors”, modular and replaceable at a very competitive price to simplify calibrations and significantly reduce operating costs compared to competing approaches.

How does the UC1 universal calibrator work?

The UC system is designed to calibrate the on-board irradiance and temperature sensors in any QUV or Q-SUN alteration chamber equipped with SOLAR EYE irradiance control.

The system consists of a UC1 portable touchscreen and various smart sensors.

UC1 is powered from the test chamber and never needs to be calibrated.

A battery built into the UC1 retains date, time, and language preferences when unplugged.

Individual smart irradiance or temperature sensors retain calibration data and are automatically recognized by CPU1 when connected.
