Where can I get my Brookfield viscometer repaired or calibrated?

Then perhaps it would be necessary to carry out some simple checks.

- Without mobile, manually turn the screw thread where the mobile is hooked up to 10 or 15% then release: the value of % must return to zero + -0.5 %

- Check that the mobile turns on itself without runout (tolerance 2 mm acceptable)

If these first two checks are positive, then you will be able to check the calibration of your Brookfield viscometer.

For this, you need a standard oil, a thermostatic bath allowing you to heat the oil with an accuracy of + -0.1 ° C (Typically standard oils are certified at 25 ° C + -0.1 ° C) and a certified thermometer.
