The CT3 texturometer can reproduce most constraints using a wide range of accessories and preset programs. The principle consists of applying tensile or compressive forces to the sample, then observing its behavior. The resistance of the material, expressed in Newtons or grams, is measured using a calibrated load cell. It can be used both in quality control and in R&D to qualify new materials.
