Smooth laydown of heavy coat weights

This unique engraving produces a thicker ink film with smooth coverage eliminating the problem of pin holing, achieving high coat weights in one single pass.

The raised areas between the cells support the doctor blade while the channel screen provides a more open structure for increasing the ink or  coating laydown.

Compared to conventional engravings the cell volume can be doubled achieving up to 100 cm³/m².

Ideal for adhesives, glue, varnishes, metallic inks and cold foil applications.

Also recommended for direct coating, as it’s exceptional transfer capabilities will ensure an even lay down and full coverage.
