Q-FOG speaker operating diagrams
Salt spray mode (all models)
The saline solution is pumped into the reservoir and directed to the nozzle. Compressed air passes through the humidification tower, takes on moisture and is sent to the nozzle. The nozzle sprays air and solution as a fine, corrosive mist. The heating systems maintain the programmed temperature in the room.
Drying mode (SSP and CCT models)
A purge fan propels air from the chamber to a heating system via diffusers and directs it through the samples positioned in the chamber. This creates a low humidity atmosphere in the chamber to dry the samples. The heating systems regulate the temperature of the room and that of the air.
Saturated humidity mode (CCT models)
The relative humidity of the CCT chamber is maintained around 95-100% by injecting hot steam inside the chamber. The steam generator heating system maintains the programmed chamber temperature.
"Shower" mode (CRH models)
Compared to the spray mist in salt spray mode, the droplets are larger, the flow rate much greater and the duration of the "shower" phase much shorter.
Regulated humidity mode (CRH models)
CRH enclosures can achieve and maintain defined temperature and humidity values thanks to the air preconditioning system, ventilation module and special humidity spray nozzles.
